Bordsvägen is a kitchen renovation in a 1940s apartment building in Gubbängen, Stockholm. The design combines off-the-shelf elements with custom carpentry, featuring details that echo the proportions, shapes, and organization of the original functionalist kitchen—long since removed. Materials and surface treatments are chosen to meet the needs of the client, particularly accommodating the energy and curiosity of a small child.
